About us: Falcon Lake is one of the hottest bass lakes in the country.
We offer guided trips to this outstanding fishery. 50 to 100 fish
days, and 6lb+ fish are not uncommon. Trips are for two people to
insure safety and fishability. We use only the best: New 21 ft
Nitro bass boat with 225 Pro XS Optimax, to get you on the fish.
Our Captain:
Charlie Haralson
is one of the most
knowledgeable fishermen on South Texas and Mexico lakes we currently
have in Falcon's arsenal. Charlie has won several
fully-rigged bass boats fishing the South Texas circuits including the
one April 22 at Choke Canyon. Their five fish weighed 38.70 lbsand they
had a 11.115 anchor fish. Charlie is well qualified to take you fishing
on multiple lakes here in Texas as well as in Mexico.
He speaks
fluent spanish having been raised here in South
Texas and his dad is Bubba Haralson former Lodge Owner and
tournament angler also with numerous boats won in South Texas
tournaments to his credit. Charlie fishes out of a new Nitro and
his equipment and his fishing skills are both first class .

Yesterday I had a half day guide trip. We didnt get on the water until 2:30pm and fished untill 6:00pm. We flipped trees, and this technique was new to them so they were having a hard time with the fish. At the end of the afternoon we had caught around 30 or 40 fish and lost about 15. Our 5 biggest wieghed about 33lbs. We also lost some good fish in the trees. To book a trip call (956) 744-6235. If you are thinking about a trip call soon as my calender is filling up. Thanks and good fishing. |

The lake is still riseing slowly. The water on the north end of the lake is still muddy but with the river giong down along with the creeks the water should start to clear. The south end of the lake remains good with the fishing even better with good #s of fish caught flippin in the trees and cranking and Carolina rigs off points. Watermelon red continues to produce and crawfish and shad colored crankbaits. |
